George L. Washington, Jr. is the Founder and CEO of The Champion's Factory, bringing more than 25 years of experience in elite basketball coaching, sports performance, recruiting, executive leadership, and athlete development.

Washington spent more than a decade coaching at the NCAA Division I level. During eight seasons at the University of Texas, he helped the Longhorns earn 184 victories, six NCAA Tournament appearances, four Sweet Sixteens, and an Elite Eight appearance. As Recruiting Coordinator, he recruited four top-six national classes and 14 McDonald's All-Americans while helping develop numerous professional players, including 2021 WNBA No. 1 overall pick Charli Collier. He later served as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Dayton.

His performance background includes strength and conditioning roles with the NBA's Houston Rockets, WNBA's Houston Comets, and Houston Stealth. He has trained NBA, NFL, Olympic, professional, collegiate, and high school athletes. Washington also led a nationally recognized grassroots basketball program that helped more than 80 athletes earn college scholarships.

Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Fitness for Bluegrass Fitness, helping oversee operations across 19 Orangetheory Fitness studios.

Washington earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Abilene Christian University and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Through The Champion's Factory, he brings together elite basketball development, sports performance, recovery, recruiting education, and executive leadership to provide serious athletes with the comprehensive resources needed to reach the next level.
